VoiceStudio is an AI-native video localization agency: you send source videos, we deliver publish-ready localized versions, with human validation at the critical steps. The agency is built on VoiceCheap, our proprietary AI dubbing engine, in production since May 2024 with 70+ languages and around 20,000 registered users.

The agency and its engine
Most localization agencies rent their technology. We own ours. VoiceCheap is the self-serve product: an AI dubbing SaaS used by thousands of creators and teams who run production themselves.
VoiceStudio is the service layer on top of that engine. For training catalogs, internal communications, and premium content, we run the whole pipeline: scoping, transcription, translation, dubbing, quality control, and delivery. You validate at the key steps, we manage the rest.
Owning the engine changes the economics of the service: we improve the technology based on what client projects demand, without depending on a third-party vendor.
The founder
VoiceStudio was founded by Kevin Rousseau, a self-taught engineer based in Paris. A pizzaiolo by trade, he learned to code during COVID and built VoiceCheap solo, all the way to profitability.
The first agency contract, around $10,000, was signed before the landing page was even finished. The demand was there; VoiceStudio was structured to serve it properly.
How we work
The pipeline is AI-native, the accountability is human. Every project runs through an 8-step workflow: scoping, transcription, client validation, translation, client validation, dubbing and subtitles, quality control, delivery.
A brand glossary is built on the first project and reused on every one that follows: your industry terms, proper nouns, and tone stay consistent in every language.
We work with GDPR-aligned workflows, restricted access, project-level retention, and DPA/NDA frameworks when the context requires them. A posture built for European enterprises.
